The Cushmans have been social butterflies the past week! We started out last Monday with a wonderful visit from Shannon, Jonathan, Julian, Naomi and Susana visiting Canton from Brooklyn, then had a wonderful lunch with Kathleen from the Library (she brought Evan his first two official "BOY" books!), and a visit from Brittany, Mrs. Taylor, Sean and Fiona! We took a few photos (below) of Evan and Fiona. Way too cute. Fiona tried out Evan's Bumbo chair - one of my favorite photos I have titled "Still Life with Fruit and Fiona."
Syd started camp at Flamig Farm in West Simsbury yesterday, and according to her, yesterday was the BEST DAY OF CAMP EVER. She got to ride a horse AND a pony, made a tie-dyed "EGGS" t-shirt, and got to carry a baby chick around. Today was a hike to the compost pile (who knows?!) and some animal feeding. Other big events this week are a hay ride and a water gun party. I will try to take photos when I pick her up tomorrow - the farm is so colorful!
