Flamig Farm Camp

Below are some photos that we took on the last day (last Friday, July 4th) of Syd's week at "Farm Camp" at Flamig Farm in West Simsbury. According to her, it was "the best week of camp EVER" and she wants to go back for 2 weeks next year. The first day they tie-dyed "EGGS" t-shirts, and she got to ride a pony AND a horse. On another day they did a "stream hike" where they spotted a crayfish and other stream creatures, and on another day their chore was to CAREFULLY collect eggs from the henhouse. On the last day, they had a huge water fight - it was a little chilly, but no one seemed to care!

This past week she's been home and we've had some playdates and activities at the library. Next week she's off to Nature Camp at White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield . She loved camp there last year, and her only worry is that there will be spiders in the bathroom again...I told her she could probably tough it out.

We had a nice evening tonight with Grammy and Papa and A.D., complete with sparklers and a campfire. Will post some photos soon!!
