Yesterday we met Mom and Dad for lunch in Bloomfield, then headed to Elizabeth Park for some fresh air. It was a gorgeous day, and the park was full of people! We all enjoyed watching the giant goldfish in the pond....

Evan's First Birthday Party!

We had family over for pizza and cupcakes: Mommy, Daddy, Sydney, Grammy and Papa, Gramma and Grandpa, Auntie Jennifer with Jimmy and Emily, Auntie Sharon with Nick & Alyssa, UG and Scarlett, and A.D. Thanks everyone for the awesome toys and clothes!

Evan's First Birthday

Can't believe the BIG MAN is one now! We opened presents from Mom & Dad and Syd after breakfast on his birthday. Now we're all looking forward to his big family "bash" this Saturday, April 18th! And we're just as anxious to get the little guy to the Dr. to have him measured. Could he hit 30 lbs.??!!!

Evan reacted remarkable well to his first encounter with a REAL hairdresser! We'd given him a quick trim at home, but he was in desperate need of some professional styling. Nicole was his hairdresser at Snip-Its in Canton, and Grammy came along to watch the fun!

This year, instead of the cousins exchanging presents, we got them all tickets to go to Coco Key together. All 7 cousins were there, plus Grandma, and fun was had by all!

Post-Thanksgiving Get-Together

I had SUCH a great time yesterday spending time with Matt & Sarah, Alison & family, and Shannon & family. The kids (7 of 'em!) got along amazingly well, and we enjoyed good wine and good food (thanks everyone!). We're going to try to make a date for a winter break get-together, too...Anne, Brittany, Nancy - hope you can make it then!!

Dr. Wallace brought out his beautiful bug collection for the kids - how cool. And Evan had no lack of girlfriends to entertain him (evidence below).

I'm so glad we've been keeping our little after Thanksgiving mini-reunion tradition going.
