August Vacation
What a whirlwind! A visit to the Williams family in Maine, visiting the CT Science Center in Hartford, Kid City in Middletown, then on to Cape Cod! Throw in a sleepover, a movie night, and some mini-golf and call it a vacation!

Kittens Come Home
We brought our 2 new kittens home tonight! April is the grey and white one, and Izzy is the black and white - they're about 9 weeks old. Surprisingly, April has been the slower to warm up to us -- she was sort of the "Miss Personality" of her kitten family, but Izzy was very playful and friendly almost as soon as she got out of the carrier. April's definitely warming up today, though - she was up on my lap while I worked on the computer. She seems to respond to being "meowed" at! She's a talker, I guess!
